Position Summary: 

As a Technical Recruiter, you play a critical role in partnering across the Product, Engineering, and IT organizations to build innovative recruiting strategies to effectively attract and hire top talent. In this role you will source, attract and build relationships with individuals that reflect our global community of diverse learners.  To be successful, you should be proactive and self-motivated, have a track record of juggling multiple reqs with a high volume of candidates, have an understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity, be comfortable closing talent and influencing leaders at any level, have a strong sense of urgency, and a passion for bringing education to the world!

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Effectively partner with your hiring managers & leadership team to understand their talent needs and build hiring strategies. 
  • Build phenomenal pipelines of diverse talent with an emphasis on creating extraordinary candidate experience. 
  • Manage high volume searches simultaneously with attention to meeting customer deadlines. 
  • Facilitate interview process, hiring decisions and offer negotiations. 
  • Help ensure recruiting data integrity by utilizing our ATS (Lever) in an optimal way. 
  • Track and analyze metrics and reports on hiring progress to leadership on a regular cadence

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience as a full life-cycle technical recruiter, including experience with proactive sourcing and candidate offers and closing
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and other sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.
  • Experience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teams
  • Experience analyzing data, understanding trends, developing and articulating recommendations for action based on the data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in using innovative research & sourcing methods to hire for niche areas, hard to fill roles, and candidates with diverse skill sets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (vlookup, pivot tables, functions)
  • Previous project management experience
  • Familiarity recruiting Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and Data Engineers
